Al Alam reporter wounded in Syria

TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – Mazen Selmo, Al Alam correspondent in Syria has been targeted in his head and wounded during coverage of violence in Daraa in Damascus suburbs.

 No further detail has been published on his health and the event.

Two days ago, in April 13, a correspondent of Iran’s Central news unit had been injured by the Syrian rebel terrorists.

Mehr News quoted Iranian News Network reporting that Syrian terrorists had shot Mohsen Khazaei’s car when the journalist was driving his car on a highway linking the city with the Damascus airport.

The shooting inflicted damage to his car.

In September 2012, Maya Nasser, a Syrian correspondent for Iran's Press TV network, had been killed by a sniper while reporting on air in Damascus before Syrian Joint Army Staff.

Hossein Mortada, who serves as Damascus bureau chief for Arabic-language Alam TV, had been also wounded in the same attack.
