Martyr General Lieutenant General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, the late Commander of the Quds Force, was martyred on January 13, 2019, along with a group of his companions, including Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Deputy Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, by the United States and on the orders of Donald Trump.
Due to his close connection with God, sincerity in action, and the characteristic of knowing the enemy, this martyr was skilled in predicting future developments and, by analyzing events, dealt fatal blows to the enemy.
One of the most important predictions of General Soleimani was the prediction of the emergence of the terrorist group ISIL in Iraq. With his complete knowledge of the developments in Iraq and the characteristics of the parties, tribes, and sects, he informed Iraqi officials six months before the emergence of ISIL that the United States, with the support of several European countries, including England, and a number of regional countries, was seeking to form a terrorist force in Iraq to serve as America's operational arm in the region. ISIL launched its first operation in Iraq on June 10, 2015, while General Soleimani had predicted in December 2014 that the mission of this American proxy force was not limited to Iraq and that after dominating Iraq and destabilizing the country, it would also invade countries including Syria and Lebanon. General Soleimani also announced to the country's officials in May 2015, on the eve of the elections in Iraq, that the Takfiri groups centered on ISIL were completely in control of the western provinces of Iraq and would almost publicly declare their existence.
At that time, the Western propaganda machine introduced ISIL as an anti-Shiite justice-seeking force and tried to portray this group as an opponent of the Iraqi Shiite government that was fighting for the rights of Sunnis. It was because of this propaganda that Iraqi officials viewed General Soleimani's predictions with skepticism. However, General Soleimani, based on his accurate information, convinced Iraqi officials that the existence of ISIL and American support were real. When ISIL had captured important cities, including Samarra, with its extensive operations and had come close to Baghdad, General Soleimani predicted that it was possible to overcome this trend. With his courageous presence on the scene and the agitation of Iraqi forces and the establishment of the Popular Mobilization Forces with the presence of young believers and warriors, he finally grounded and eradicated this terrorist group in Iraq.
In another event, when ISIL emerged in Syria and at the height of this group’s terrorist operations with the support of the US and Israel, General Soleimani predicted the defeat of ISIL, even stating its estimated time. After the martyrdom of Mohsen Hojaji, General Soleimani issued a clear message that he would dry up the roots of ISIL within the next 3 months, and this was what happened.
One of General Soleimani’s other predictions was to expose the Zionist regime’s plan to invade Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. On September 19, 2012, in an interview with Al-Arabiya, he said: “Israel is planning to invade Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, and the US supports this plan. Available information indicates that Israel wants Syria to tire of its internal conflicts and then attack it.” This prediction came true, and Israel invaded Syria, Lebanon, and Iran with the support of the US.
One of the most important predictions of General Soleimani was the declaration of the instability of the Zionist regime in the future. In February 2017, at the Raz Ridvan conference, he said: “The actions that the Zionist regime is taking indicate the instability of this regime, and we see and feel these effects. We see this terror, the frenzy, and the crazy unperformed operations, and these are the effects of the last desperate efforts. For this reason, this system will not be stable. This regime will not last.
The actions of this mercenary regime show that this regime is not stable and no stable factors and effects are seen in this regime.” Operation Storm al-Aqsa is evidence of General Soleimani’s prediction, although he was martyred and did not witness the gradual decline of Israel after this operation. The realities on the ground also showed that despite the extensive propaganda of the Western and Zionist media to portray the occupying regime as stable, the various stages of Operation True Promise caused extensive damage to Israel in the military, structural, political, economic, psychological and social spheres and accelerated the path of this regime's decline. Today, Israel is the most hated regime in the world in public opinion, and especially after escaping a decisive defeat with the help of the United States in the 12-day war with Iran, it has become a ruin and no traces of its stability can be seen.
Regarding Iran, General Soleimani believed that the final victory belongs to the Islamic nation of Iran and pure Islam, and he believed that if the Iranian society can maintain its cohesion in obedience to the guardianship and leadership, all the conspiracies of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution will be neutralized.
May his memory be honored and his path be steadfast.
