Iranian Cultural Institute Established in Spain

TEHRAN May 2 (MNA) -- An Iranian cultural institute called “Pars House” opened on Saturday night in Madrid with a ceremony attended by a number Iranians and Spanish cultural figures.

Established by four Iranian-Spanish artists including Ahmad Mohammad-Taher, Majid Javadi, Anna Montero, and Eduardo Aguira, the institute’s primary focus will be on Iranian music and literature.

 

This is first time an Iranian-Spanish institute has been officially established in Spain by the private sector.

 

According to the constitution of the institute, “Pars House” aims to familiarize Spaniards with Iranian culture through music, literature, mysticism, and cinema. The institute also intends to make a comparative study of Iranian-Spanish cultures preparing an atmosphere to improve historical ties.

 

“Pars House” will conduct training courses, seminars, and workshops on Iranian music for those who are interested Iranian culture.
