Foreign graphic design experts to give lectures at TMCA

On the first day of the conference speeches will be made by Annette Lenz from France, Werner Jeker from Switzerland, Emre Senan from Turkey, and Wang Xu from China.

On the second day Daniela Haufe & Detlef Fiedler from Germany, Mervyn Kurlansky from Denmark, Emily King from Britain and Alain Le Quernec from France will be giving talks.

A second conference on posters will be held on June 26 and 27 which will also take place at TMCA.

The 9th International Poster Biennial is to be held at Tehran’s Saba Art and Cultural Institute from July 17 until 22.

Co-sponsored by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Iranian Academy of Arts, and Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS), the event will be held in memory of Morteza Momayyez, who was the founder of the Graphic Design Biennial in Iran.

Foremost graphic designers Qobad Shiva, Mostafa Asadollahi, Hossein Khosrojerdi, Reza Abedini, Majid Abbasi and Sa’ed Meshki have been selected as the Iranian members of the biennial’s jury.

The international jury members will be Daniela Haufe, Werner Jeker, Emre Senan and Wang Xu.
