Mohammadreza Karimi Saremi announced that the festival would be held from 3 to 8 of March 2015 in Tehran.
He asserted that this event has two major sections for domestic and international participants. The domestic section includes categories for Iranian and students animations, along with a division for open participants. The international panel, however, just contains the student and open sections.
Saremi dubbed Tehran’s animation festival as one of high-ranking events in the field and said “the most credited and praised works are present in this event and all works would be shown in HD format in five cinemas,” he added.
The secretary of festival also announced that Germany had the most number of works which was followed by South Korea and China.
Saremi also said that this biennial had a special part for children asserting that one of the programs of this festival would be displaying animations concerning children for which one of the halls would be dedicated.
