TEHRAN, July 26 (Mehr News Agency) – Exports of Mineral and Industrial products increased by 19.5 percent during the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2003) compared to the same period the previous year.

The value of the exported goods stood at 812.7 million dollars.

Exports of gas, worth 110.1 million dollars, constituted 13.5 percent of the total export of industrial and mineral goods during the said period.

During the same period, some 1,973 tons of still have been produced showing 3.6 percent growth compared to the same period the previous year; production of 43,000 tons of aluminum showed a growth of 2.9 percent; 36,000 tons of copper showed a growth of 4 percent; 122,000 auto cars showed 50 percent growth; 847 buses showed a growth of 53.4 percent; 9, 373 pickup trucks showed a growth of 6.2 percent.
