Ahmadinejad was welcomed by Parviz Davudi, first vice-president, Ali-Akbar Velayati, senior advisor to the Supreme Leader, Davud Danesh-Ja’fari, minister of economy, and Gholamhossein Elham, the government spokesman.
During his tour, the president met ranking Turkmen and Tajik officials and discussed the reinforcement of bilateral ties.
