Sabereen News Telegram channel reported on Saturday that at least four loud explosions had been heard near a US military base at the Koniko gas field on the eastern outskirts of Deir al-Zour in eastern Syria on the border with Iraq.
There have been no reports of the cause of the explosions and further details on them have yet to come out.
