Iran, UAE resume maritime trade

TEHRAN, Jun. 05 (MNA) – The ports affairs director of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) Ravanbakhsh Behzadian said that Iran and UAE have resumed maritime trade.

He made the announcement on Thursday, saying that maritime trade between Iran and the UAE has been halted since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

According to the new health guidelines and protocols, these business communications have resumed between two countries, he added.

Of course, according to the UAE ports, the import of fruit from Iran should only be done with refrigerated containers, which is not possible in our traditional launches, Behzadian said.
