Veteran actor Dudkar dies at the age of 80

TEHRAN, July 26 (MNA) -- Veteran actor Akbar Dudkar Haqiqi died at the age of 80 in Tehran on Saturday.

Dudkar began his artistic activities in the 1970s at Tehran’s Dehqan Theater.

 

He had appeared in dozens of films, plays, and TV series and was popular for his Gilaki accent, but had to retire due to eyesight problems.

 

He acted in the TV series “Hezar Dastan” and “The Alley of Acasia” as well as the movies “Golnar”, “Grand Cinema”, “Maybe Some Other Time”, “Tuba”, and “A Girl Named Tondar”.

 

Dudkar was buried at Behesht Zahra cemetery on Monday.
