Iran police seize over 2 tons of narcotics

TEHRAN, Feb. 07 (MNA) – More than two tons of narcotics has been confiscated in Hormozgan province over the past week, police announced. 

The police commander of Hormozgan province said that two tons and 345 kg of narcotics has been seized from the smugglers.

Brigadier General Gholamreza Jafari added that 59 defendants have been detained in this regard.

He went on to say that 11 heavy-duty and light-duty cars have been confiscated to this end.
