Mansuri had previously served as Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan and a long-time Foreign Ministry advisor.
He has also been the director of the History of Diplomacy Section of Iran’s Document and Research Center since last year.
He has a Ph.D in history and a master’s degree in political science.
