VIDEO: 'Mouteh' wildlife habitat in central Iran

TEHRAN, Dec. 27 (MNA) – Located in the north of Isfahan Province, central Iran, Mouteh National Park and Wildlife Habitat with 205,000 hectares area is a house for mouflons, sheep, goats and goiter gazelles.

25 species of mammals, 88 species of birds and 25 species of reptiles have been identified and registered in the Mouteh National Park and Wildlife Habitat; The Persian deer is the most significant animal that lives in the Mouteh plain.

There are over 300 plant species in this wildlife refuge some of which have medicinal value.
