Azerbaijan frees 2 Iranian drivers after FMs conversation

TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (MNA) – Republic of Azerbaijan has released the Iranian drivers that had been detained a few weeks ago by Azeri forces on the transit road in Azeri territories in Karabakh.

A day after a telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran, Baku released Iranian drivers. 

In the phone conversation last night, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov that enemies should not be given the opportunity to disrupt amicable ties between Tehran and Baku.
