TEHRAN, Dec. 08 (MNA) – The final statement of the 2nd conference of parliament speakers of Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, China and Russia on the challenges of terrorism stressed the role that parliaments can play in the fight against terrorism and the expansion of international cooperation.

The parliament speakers of Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, China and Russia held their second conference on the challenges of terrorism in the Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday.

At the end of the two-day conference, the parliament speakers of the six participating countries issued a final statement in which they stressed the role that parliaments can play in the fight against terrorism.
