Iran, France exchange views on Syrian crisis

TEHRAN, Sep. 13 (MNA) – Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Senior Aide to Iranian Foreign Minister, and François Sénémaud, personal representative of French President Macron for Syria, met on Thursday in Paris and discussed Syrian crisis.

Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Senior Aide to Iranian Foreign Minister, met with François Sénémaud, personal representative of French President Macron for Syria, on Thursday in Paris.

The Iranian diplomat, who arrived in Paris late on Wednesday, to meet and exchange views with French officials, met with Sénémaud at the presidential palace of France and the two commented on and discussed the most recent developments in Syria and the underway efforts to put an end to crisis in the war torn Arab country.

Earlier in the morning on the same day, in the residence of Iranian ambassador to France in Paris, Jaberi Ansari met with the heads of parliamentary friendship groups of French Senate (Philippe B.) and National Assembly (Delphine O) and the two sides exchanged views on the ways to broaden and increase bilateral relations and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of France.

Delphine O is the President of France-Iran Friendship Group.

Later on Thursday, he will meet and consult with French presidential aide for diplomacy and the general secretary of the French foreign ministry.
