More terrorists detained by Intelligence Ministry

TEHRAN, Jun. 09 (MNA) – Iran’s intelligence ministry released a communiqué on Friday recounting the latest follow-up measures by Iran’s security forces after the Wednesday terrorist attack on Tehran.

Several safe houses of Wahhabi terrorists were identified and attacked in a joint operation by the Intelligence Ministry, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iran’s Police, says the communiqué released on Friday at noon by Iran’s intelligence ministry.

The announcement reassures that the other elements of ISIL terrorist group related to Wednesday attack were identified and arrested before managing to do anything.

A huge amount of weapons and bomb precursors, explosive belts, some means of communication and forged documents have also been found in the dens of the terrorists, according to the same source.

The statement closes with reassuring the Iranian nation that the security force will continue their operation till finding all the perpetrators and commissioners of the heinous crimes of Wednesday in Tehran.

Before noon on Wednesday, two gangs of terrorist attacked Iran’s Parliament and the Mausoleum of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini simultaneously. During the attack 17 people were martyred and more than 50 injured. One of the two attackers to Imam Khomeini Mausoleum detonated his bomb-vest and the other was shot by security forces.
