Iran attacks stress need to protect world from terrorism

TEHRAN, Jun. 10 (MNA) – Head of National Iraqi Alliance Ammar al-Hakim sent a message of condolence to the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Iranian nation and government on Tehran deadly attacks.

“With great concern, we follow the news on the terrorist attacks in Tehran that left many innocent people martyred and wounded; I condole and extend my sympathy to the Leader of Islamic Revolution and the Iranian nation and government, and condemn such criminal acts by extremists and terrorists,” his message reads.

Hakim underlined that such criminal acts indicates Iran’s leading role in the fight against terrorism.

Hakim emphasized the need for taking practical and serious measures to counter extremism and dry up its financial and intellectual resources, adding, “once again, we urge the regional countries to organize a meeting to draw up a regional security strategy to fight terrorism and save the world from the scourge and wickedness."
