Pointing to the newly-formed relations between Tehran and Rabat, she said Iran seeks expansion of all-out relations with the North African country based on mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs of each country.
She noted that Iran demonstrated its determination to broaden relation with Rabat by the reopening of Iran’s embassy in Morocco and the appointment of a new ambassador to the North African country.
"Iran and Morocco are also after boosting political and economic cooperation as well as exchanging commercial delegations," Afkham reiterated.
Relations between Iran and Morocco were severed in 2009 following a series of disputes on regional issues.
