TEHRAN, Apr. 27 (MNA) – An ammunition depot is on fire near the village of Staraya Nelidovka in western Russia’s Belgorod Region near the border with Ukraine, the region’s governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

The governor said on Wednesday that loud bangs, similar to blasts, have been heard in the western Russian city of Belgorod not far from the border with Ukraine starting from 03:35 Moscow time, TASS reported. 

Reuters quoted Gladkov as saying the fire at the ammunition depot near the Staraya Nelidovka village had been extinguished and no civilians have been injured.
