Panpan Yan of China won the gold medal with 227kg while Colombia's Fabio Torresbronze received the bronze medal with 221kg.
The silver was Iran's third medal in powerlifting. Rostami in -80kg has already won a gold medal while Amir Jafari gained a silver in -65kg.
