TEHRAN, Jun. 19 (MNA) – Iranian interior minister on Sat. announced the final results of the country's Presidental elections, noting that Ebrahim Raeisi has won the elections gaining 17,926,345 votes.

In a statement on Saturday afternoon, interior minister Rahmani Fazli announced the final result of the presidential election.

As many as 59,310,307 were l eligible to vote and 28,933,004 people participated in the election which accounts for 48.8 percent of the total number of people who were eligible to vote. 

Ebrahim Raeisi won the elections with 17,926,345 votes (61.95 percent), he added.

Mohsen Rezaei and Abdolnaser Hemamti gained 3,412,712, and 2,427,201 votes, respectively, Rahmani Fazli said.

Amirhossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi won 999,718 votes, the minister said.

The 13th Presidential Election was held on Friday.
