Having trounced the Indian outfit 48-17 in its opening match the previous day, Iran's Men's Junior Handball team won their second fixture in the Asian competitions on Tuesday against Yemen 49-19.
The Iranian handball squad is scheduled to take on Oman on Wednesday.
Young Iranian players had beat India in their first match 48-17.
The national Iranian team is pitted in the Group D along with national teams of Oman, India and Yemen.
Iran’s squad has scored 97 goals so far to lead his group, followed by the host country Oman with 74 goals.
Oman won against India 38 to 37 on Tuesday and will take on Iran later today.
The 16th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship started on July 15 in Salalah, Oman and will wrap up on July 25, 2018.
The first to third teams in the Asian competitions will qualify for the World competitions in Spain next year.
