Speaking in the western city of Urmia in a ceremony to commemorate the 39th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Brigadier General Salami said “since the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 in Iran, Iran and the Islamic world have changed.”
IRGC Deputy Commander said that the history of the Islamic Revolution in Iran was accompanied with international pressure and sanctions against Iran and the nation is facing some hardships but it has stood on its now and decides independently.
“Today we can compete with the countries of the world in the field of science and technology,” Brigadier General Salami said, adding “despite the fact that our defense system has been domestically developed without any other country’s help, it is among the best in the world.”
Referring to the fact that 98 percent of the drugs are produced inside the country, and large refineries are build based on indigenous technology, IRGC Deputy Commander warned “the enemies are trying to put an end to the achievements of the Islamic Revolution of Iran through a psychological warfare.”
