TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (MNA) – The commemoration ceremony of the anniversary of the Iranian prisoners of war (POWs) was held at the Ideological-Political Organization of the Iranian Army on Sunday morning.
The anniversary of Iran's POWs return, observed in Tehran on August 17, is a day of commemoration for the homecoming of Iranian prisoners of war after the Iran-Iraq war. This day is known as "Day of Return of POWs and Missing in Action" in Iran.
