QOM, Jul. 30 (MNA) – Hoz-e Soltan Salt Lake is located 40km north of central Iranian city of Qom, 85km south of Tehran. In recent years, for drought issues the lake has been rendered almost completely dried up. The problem is likely to create widespread environmental issues for several important and populous provinces of the country, including Qom and Tehran, and endanger the health of its inhabitants.
