In the part one, Prophet Solomon (AS) learns that he must pass a certain hard time to reach an ideal society. He must engage in a struggle with evils and jinns.
The second part will depict the people of Babel learning sorcery from evils and jinns and also from Harut and Marut, two angels mentioned in the second sura of the Holy Quran, who were sent down to test the people at Babel by performing deeds of sorcery. As a result, they refuse to obey Prophet Solomon (AS), accusing him of infidelity.
“The story of the second part is directly related to verse 102 of Sura Baqarah of the Holy Quran,” director and screenwriter Shahriar Bahrani told the Persian service of IRNA.
“Versions of the screenplay have been sent to university professors, scholars and ulama to get their opinions on improving the script,” he added.
A group of writers and scholars is currently doing research to gather more information for the final draft, Bahrani stated.
No exact time was mentioned for the start of shooting the film.
In early April, Bahrani said that the world premiere of part one of “The Kingdom of Solomon” is scheduled to take place in a number of Asian and Latin American countries in the near future.
