“We were to cooperate on the ‘Red Ribbon’ project, but my dream didn’t come true and I didn’t have the pleasure of working with Hatamikia in that instance,” Homayunfar told the Mehr News Agency on Saturday.
“Finally, I got the chance in ‘Green Ring’ and I’m happy that we shared experiences on this project,” he added.
“Hatamikia is satisfied with the soundtrack and I hope I have another opportunity to work with him. I learnt a lot from him,” Homayunfar noted.
Hamid Farrokhnejad plays the role of a soul in “Green Ring”.
Hatamikia, Veteran director of the Sacred Defense genre of films, has chosen to focus on a different theme in this serial.
“Green Ring” is about a man who is declared clinically brain dead. The man’s soul tries to return to life, but his heart is to be donated to another patient.
Hamid Farrokhnejad plays the role of the soul and Sima Tirandaz, Homeira Riazi, Mohammad Halati, Atash Taqipur, Nasim Adabi, and Bahram Alian are also amongst the cast.
