The defending champions Iran took on the hosts, Indonesia, in the final of of the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup final and drew in the regular time and added times 5-5.
Finally, the Iranian team defeated the Indonesians on penalty shootouts 6-5.
The hosts had beaten Japan on Thursday in the semifinal to reach the final match against Iran 5-3.
