News sources reported that "severe rocket attacks" have taken place on the American base in the "Konico" gas field.
This base is located in Dair al-Zawr province in eastern Syria.
The attack comes after it was reported earlier today that explosions were heard in another US base in Syria's Shadadi in Hasaka Province.
