Enemy's psychological warfare against Iran aims at forcing officials into negotiations

TEHRAN, Aug. 08 (MNA) – Deputy Commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Hossein Salami said the United States is making use of a psychological warfare to put Iranian nation against the officials and force them into negotiation.

Speaking in a ceremony to commemorate Martyr Morteza Hosseinpour on Tuesday, Salami said “today, no country will be safe without the efforts and self-sacrifices of its forces,” adding “the martyrs have not allowed the enemies to reach their sinister goals in a country like the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has undergone a lot of hostilities and conspiracies over the past forty years.”

Pointing to the resistance of Iran’s Islamic Establishment against plots and hostilities, Salami said “Iranian nation stands firmly against all enmities and defends the independence of the Establishment.”

Salami, arguing that global Arrogance is seeking to create a safe Middle East for the Zionist regime, stressed "with all the efforts made, today there is nothing for this regime in the region, except for a nightmare.”

He further pointed to the plots of the enemies for the division of Syria, and said "today, the Arrogance claim they have no problem with Bashar al-Assad, and are voicing their main problem is Iran, however, the only thing they got there was their failure against the resistance Axis.”

Citing the American psychological warfare against the Iranian nation, he concluded “they seek to demonstrate with a psychological warfare that the Establishment has been weakened and to put the nation against the officials to force them into negotiations with the US.”
