Terrorism target regional stability, security

TEHRAN, Jun. 04 (MNA) – Iranian FM Spokesman Ghasemi, while pointing to new suicide attacks in Afghanistan, said terrorism has targeted stability and security of Afghanistan and the region.

Bahram Ghasemi, Spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referred to killing of dozens of innocent people by new suicide attacks in Afghanistan saying “incessant operations by terrorist and extremist groups against the oppressed people of Afghanistan are signs of planning by instigators, perpetuators and supporters of terrorism to disrupt stability and security in Afghanistan.

He deemed it as essential for all peace-seeking parties, groups and personalities on the side of the Afghan government and nation to remain vigilant in the face of conspiracies while maintaining their serenity.

Today regional conditions require that eradicating terrorism and extremism be the first priority of cooperation among all countries, said Ghasemi adding “to this end, the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes all those who honestly and responsibly seek to uproot the menace and scourge of the century.”
