Tehran Deputy-Police Commander in Greater Tehran told reporters on Tuesday the valuables and worthy documents and papers discovered during rubble-clearing would be saved and returned to the owners.
“The number of families who have appeared in police stations to file a missing member had been initially 8; later, 4 of them recovered the bodies of their loved ones. Now, only 4 families are still waiting for rescue operations to turn back with the fresh news on the developments,” said Brig. Gen. Ghader Karimi. “A number of journalists have been admitted to the site just to serve the public; some of them had no ID cards.”
