TEHRAN, Apr. 12 (MNA) – A domestic airline yesterday launched a special flight to return Iranians living in Georgia from Tbilisi to Tehran in coordination with the Iranian Embassy in Georgia amid sharp rise of COVID-19 cases.

In cooperation and coordination with the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Tbilisi, a domestic airline company launched the fourth passenger flight to Georgia and vice versa on Sunday April 11 to help Iranians who were stranded and unable to return to their home country due to the coronavirus restrictions.

With launching the recent flight, about 145 Iranian passengers were able to visit their families after months of restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
