TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – Iranian short piece ‘Old Man’s Heavy Sleep’, directed by Mostafa Rostampour, has made it into the competition program of the 3rd Annual Southeast Regional Film Festival in the US.

‘Old Man’s Heavy Sleep’ is about the modern human family which loneliness is bolded and dominant. The film shows the life of an old man who left alone after his children's departure. He desires his death because of this deadly loneliness. His only companion is a man who lives downstairs.  

The 3rd edition of the Southeast Regional Film Festival will be held in July in the US.
