An exhibition under the title “Iran; the cradle of civilization” opened in the Netherlands on Sunday.
The Drents Museum homes the exhibition which opened at a ceremony featuring Iranian Ambassador to the Hague Alireza Jahangiri, the Deputy Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handcraft and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) Mohammad Hassan Talebian, and the Head of National Museum of Iran Jebreil Nowkandeh.
Also a host of Dutch officials were present at the opening ceremony.
“At the exhibition, 196 artefacts from 60 historic and archeological sites in Iran are being staged,” said the Head of National Museum of Iran Jebreil Nowkandeh, on the sidelines of the opening ceremony.
“The exhibition is divided into seven sections from Paleolithic age to the Islamic era,” recounted the Iranian official.
