TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (MNA) – Four taekwondo practitioners of Iran are slated to take part at Finals of 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix to convene in Ivory Coast.

The 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix is the 5th edition of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix series and is held in four stages. Series 1 of the sportive event was competed in Moscow in August, Series 2 in Rabat of Morocco in September and the Series 3 in London in October.

Meanwhile, the final stage of the sportive extravaganza will be hosted by Abidjan city in Ivory Coast on December 2-3.

The Iranian outfit at the two-day event will comprise Armin Hadipour and Farzan Ashourzadeh at -58kg weight group, Abolfazl Yaghoubi (-68kg) as well as Sajjad Mardani at +80 weight category.

The Persian taekwondo squad will be led by Mahdi Bibak and Alireza Nasrazadani as coaches.

Finals of World Taekwondo Grand Prix will offer 80 points to gold medalists of every weight division. Second and third-place winners will receive 48 and 28.8 points, respectively.
