TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – An official at the Ministry of Agriculture said the country’s exports of medicinal herbs in a nine-month period since March 2019 have generated over $450 million.

Agriculture Ministry plans to boost exports of medicinal plants

Harvesting Echium amoenum in north Iran
ASTARA, May 11 (MNA) – Also known as red feathers, Echium amoenum is a medicinal herb indigenous to the northern part of Iran and Caucasus. According to Agricultural Ministry officials, Iran has exported some 500 kilograms of dried Echium amoenum to European countries in the last Iranian calendar year 1397 (March 2018 - March 2019).
