Persian Books at Int’l Children Digital Library

TEHRAN, December 26 (Mehr News Agency) –- A total of 100 volumes of Persian story books will be added to the list of the International Children Digital Library (ICDL).

Cosponsored by Children Book Council and Iran National Library, the top literary works by Iranian writers of children and young adults will find ways to the library, said head of Library Research Department of Children Book Council.

 

ICDL is a project of University of Maryland and the Internet Archive, supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

 

The mission of the ICDL is to select, collect, digitize, and organize children's materials in their original languages and to create appropriate technologies for access and use by children 3-13 years old.
