In their second match of the competition on Sunday, the Iranian team faced UAE and came from two goals behind and finally won the game 3-2.
In their first match, Iran managed to win Azerbaijan 3-1.
Iran will play its third match against host Belarus.
The 2023 CIS Games is underway in Minsk, Belarus between August 5 to 9.
