VIDEO: Protesters tear down confederate general’s statue in Washington

TEHRAN, Jun. 20 (MNA) – Following a day of peaceful protests celebrating Juneteenth, protesters pulled down and burned the statue of Confederate General Albert Pike in Washington DC on Saturday. Pike had fought for confederacy mainly to protect a Southern US society of which slavery was an integral part.
