TEHRAN, Jun. 06 (MNA) – People across the US have been protesting police brutality in light of the death of George Floyd, a black man killed May 25 after a white police officer pressed his knee to Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes. Despite calls for the ban of tear gas use, Portland police deployed tear gas over hundreds of protesters near Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland after declaring the gathering an unlawful assembly.
