Iran organizing intl. painting festival for Muslim children

TEHRAN, Mar. 10 (MNA) – The 1st International Painting Festival for the Children of the Islamic World is to be held in Tehran in September, the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported on Friday.

Entitled “Me and God”, the event is being held exclusively for Muslim children and has been organized by Maktab-e Honar Artistic Cultural Foundation.

 

The organizers aim to identify talented and highly motivated children in order to promote creativity among Muslim children and develop cultural relations between Islamic countries.

 

Entries should be submitted no later than April 4. 

 

The festival will have two sections, one for children four to seven years old and the other for children seven to ten years old.

 

The artworks will be judged by a jury of seven university professors and book illustrators.
