AUT to host 18th Intl. Collegiate Programming Contest in Nov.

TEHRAN, Oct. 28 (MNA) – The 18th Amirkabir International Collegiate Programming Contest will be held in Tehran on November 2nd, 2018.

The 18th Amirkabir International Collegiate Programming Contest will be held at Computer Engineering and IT Department of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) on November 2nd.

The contest will be held simultaneously between university students of computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering and mathematics.

The contest will be held both online and on-site. The participant teams in on-site contest must have exactly three members in order to participate in the programming contest, whereas the online contest has no limits.

The tournament includes a series of stage contests that are held for qualification at the world stage.

The registration is open until the end of today, and the oreintation for Iranian teams are held on October 31.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest, known as the ICPC, is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. In 2017, 40,266 students from 2,736 universities from 102 countries across the world took part in the Contest.
