Japan fully supports JCPOA: official

TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Japan fully supports Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and urges all other countries to respect this international agreement, said Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Takeo Akiba.

He made the remarks on Friday in Tokyo while receiving the credentials of Iranian new ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani-Movahed.

Akiba went on to say that Iran and Japan have long history of friendly relations and that these ties will continue.

Touching upon the fact that 2019 will be the 90th year of Iran-Japan diplomatic relations, the Japanese official hoped that bilateral ties would be expanded more than ever.

Rahmani-Movahed, for his part, expressed happiness for his mission to Japan.

Islamic Republic of Iran eyes to expand bilateral relations in all domain, he added.
