Rouhani urges Islamic countries into unity, coop.

TEHRAN, May 25 (MNA) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has urged Islamic countries to consolidate unity and cooperation, in a message to Jordan King congratulating him on the anniversary of Jordan Independence Day.

At the start the message, Iran’s president congratulated the anniversary of the Independence Day on the people and the King Abdullah of Jordan.

Then, Rouhani said that the Islamic Countries need unity and cooperation more than ever, expressing hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries would expand in different fields.

At the end of his message, Rouhani wished well-being and success for the people and government of Jordan.

Independence Day is the National Holiday of Jordan and is celebrated annually on 25 May. Also, Known as 'Eid al-Istiklaal', the holiday marks the independence of Jordan on 25 May 1946 when British control ended and Jordan was declared a Kingdom.
