News ID: 4164855 -
TEHRAN, Dec. 06 (MNA) – The president said that today the Muslim nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have the responsibility to do something about Quds.

Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting attended by Leader of Islamic Revolution and participants of 31st Islamic Unity Conference and ambassadors of Islamic countries to Iran, held on Wednesday to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq, sixth Imam of Shia.

Rouhani said that “the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) called on the followers of all religions to coexist peacefully and coexistence is the common goal of every religion.”

“Today, after the successes of the nations of the region in combating terrorists and throwing them out of their countries, the enemies are contemplating new conspiracies, and we must remain vigilant against Zionist regime, world arrogance, and America.”

The president noted that “today, the enemies have started a new conspiracy against the Muslims, targeting holy Quds,” adding “holy Quds belongs to all Muslims and Palestinian, but the Global Arrogance is designing a new conspiracy against it.”

“While the Islamic Republic of Iran supports integrity of nations and is opposed to dividing the nations and it wants the problems to be solved through dialogue, it will not tolerate aggression against Islamic holy sites,” added Rouhani.

Referring to the fact that Muslim countries and the Organization of the Islamic Conference today have the responsibility towards Quds, Rouhani stated “Our only way of salvation is allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH) and implementation of his words and way of living in our lives.”
