Head Coach of the national team Fariborz Asgari has told Mehr News correspondent that 16-member team will take part in international competitions in Kazakhstan’s Atyrau as a preparation for Islamic games in Azerbaijan’s Baku.
“We asked the federation to be in an international tournament before going to Baku and they agreed to prepare the grounds for participation in Atyrau games,” he said.
According to Asgari, 16 athletes are introduced to National Olympics Committee among which 8 athletes will be picked for national squad following the Kazakhstan tournament to go to Azerbaijan.
