Speaking at a meeting with President of National Research, Development and Innovation Office of Hungary József Pálinkás, Iran’s Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari pointed to existence of great capacities in the field of agriculture saying “there exits many areas for cooperation between Iran and Hungary which could form a basis for technological collaboration between the two sides.”
The official stressed the need for science and knowledge in technological arenas asserting “despite Iran’s various capacities in agriculture sector, various challenges are present the most important of which being the weak role currently played by science and technology.”
“Accordingly, science and technology need to enter the field of agriculture as a fundamental necessity as well as that development and prosperity in the sector requires joining hands with other countries,” he continued.
Sattari underlined that several plans had been defined in water, deserts, agriculture products as well as fisheries areas which could marks great venues for cooperation between Tehran and Budapest.
