‘Born in 86’ goes to India

TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – Iranian feature film ‘Born in 86’ directed by Majid Tavakoli has been selected to compete at the 14th International Chennai Film Festival in India.

Majid Tavakoli's debut feature ‘Born in 86’ which is currently on screen at Iranian movie theaters will be enjoying its second international screening at the 14th edition of International Chennai Film Festival in India.

The film produced by Documentary and Experimental Film Center is the story of a young couple who one day decide to live like wealthy people. “When you start a game as a joke, you have to finish it,” the synopsis of the film reads.

The 14th International Chennai Film Festival organized by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF) will be held on 15-22 December, 2016 in India. Striving to be in par with the best International Film Festivals across the globe, CIFF is dedicated to presenting the best of international and Indian Panorama films to the city of Chennai.
